HOW TO HAVE A GREAT STAYCATION

staycation (noun): a holiday spent in one’s home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions.
 
Here’s my tip:
 
Clear out your day to have as little requirements of yourself as possible using the three D’s – Delegate (for someone else to do for you), delay (until tomorrow or another day) or delete. Then start your day with an activity that will allow you to get out of your head and into your body so as you can listen and act upon your intuition the whole day. I’ve done this personally a few times and ended up having some divine bewitchful days.

Have marketers so thoroughly convinced us that we are incomplete without the perpetual happiness gene or that we cannot exist with glee unless we have their magical elation pill?

💋 It’s not about marketing. It’s about whether you’re resonating in alignment with your soul (highest truth) or if you’re being human (a body). I will never discount being human .. it has it’s value/place (as I am all about embracing the pleasures our bodies can bring to our lives) .. yet ultimately when we’re living in tune with our soul (highest truth or whatever you would like to label it) … happiness is far from a burden… how can something so abundant, light and flowing be a burden ?

It’s also okay to feel all our emotions. Just as long as you don’t STAY angry, depressed, bored, etc    Learn tools and strategies that work best for YOU that will allow you to re-align with your soul/highest truth.

FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION AT EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY. Then ** ACT ** (not listen) ON YOUR INTUITION ! This is the secret to an abundant life. It’s really that simple.
