Why I’m concentrating on women and not men

Many thanks goes to the following well written MUST READ article – http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arjuna-ardagh/goddess-worship_b_660896.html

Whilst I strongly recommend everyone (men AND women) read the article .. I will quote certain parts of it as I felt they resonated with me.  With the whole “deal” of Lady Vee.  This is one of the very few articles I have read on the internet where I was crying because I could see that this man “got it” … and how I wish women would just “get it” too.

Anyway, here are some of the highlights (for me):

At the essence of every woman’s heart is the divine feminine. It contains everything that has ever been beautiful, or lovely, or inspiring, in any woman, anywhere, at any time.   ….. But it’s protected, for good reason, by a series of concentric walls.  …..

If you stand on the outside of the outermost wall, all you have available to you, like many other unfortunate men, is pornography. For $1.99 a minute, you can see her breasts, maybe her vagina, and you can stimulate yourself in a sad longing for deeper love.

From this point onwards tho’ I would once again ask for you to read the article as the next few paragraphs are important.

Any woman is every woman, and every woman is any woman at the same time.   …..   It is what has made every woman in history beautiful. It’s the flame behind the Mona Lisa, and Dante’s Beatrice, and yes, also Penelope Cruz and Heidi Klum. You discover the magic ingredient which has lead every man to fall in love with a woman.

This next part is important and the reason for my blog post.  The author is asking men to do an action:

The second way to get started: make a practice, a discipline, of telling your woman, or any woman, ten times a day something which you adore about her.

So many women are so closed off to themselves. Disconnected from their bodies.  Thus a man could do this action the author is suggesting … and she won’t hear it.  Seriously.  I know this for a fact.  I’ve had two very distinct experiences (related to me by the men) with this happening where the man in the relationship is desperately wanting to “workshop at his wife’s altar” as such yet she won’t hear him.  He is telling her how beautiful she is, how awesome she is and everything and MEANING it … yet she cannot hear it.  She won’t hear it.  She herself is disconnected from her divine self that obviously she isn’t willing to hear it.

This is where I come into play.  This is where what I am hoping to do with Lady Vee comes into play and WHY I am concentrating on women only.

Yes, eventually, I will do my own best to empower men so they can do as this author is advocating however … let’s start with the women first.  No point in “worshiping the divine feminine in your partner” if the partner herself isn’t worshipping it within herself.

Through sensual movement (not dance) I do hope that women will feel re-connected to their bodies.  Believe me, this is the foundation to everything!  I have seen time and time and time again the profound effect a genuine connection (or re-connection) with their body can do for a woman.  To awaken their erotic creature (as Sheila Kelly who is an inspiration for me mentioned in her TedX talk).
